The problem with the Church today is...

...the bishops?
...secularism?
...lax priests and religious?
...poor catechism?
...all the changes since the Council?
...failure to implement the Council?
...lame liturgy?

How many of us, when we hear such a question, implicate ourselves? "Whatever the problem is, I, a member of the Church, am surely a part of it!" Or are we content to let the problem be someone else's?

Well, if you are an Anglican, you are content (sadly enough) to let the problem be someone else's.

If I, who seem to be your right hand and am called Presbyter and seem to
preach the Word of God, If I do something against the discipline of the Church
and the Rule of the Gospel so that I become a scandal to you, The Church, then
may the whole Church, in unanimous resolve, cut me, its right hand, off, and
throw me away.
